Belles and Ghosts is an art brand from Artist, Illustrator, Designer and Photographer, MissySue Hanson; an emotionally-driven curator with an affinity and deep connection to the things that motivate memories, feelings and nostalgia. MissySue's Fine Art and Illustration is based in imaginative storylines and impossible things.

With over 20 years experience in creative fields, MissySue began her career as a photographer when she was 15, taking an internship with the late Sonny Azzara, one of St. Louis' renowned photographers. Trained in traditional film photography and darkroom development in studio settings, she grew with the industry. With the dawn of digital photography, the freedom of expression became boundless and MissySue continued to create imagery that has sometimes been described as "hauntingly real".

MissySue lives with her son and fiance in a small rural town that runs along the river in the Midwest woodlands.
